Our coffin drapes provide a dignified tribute to a loved one’s life, national heritage or military service. Choose your flag from the dropdown menu to view its price and order online.

Size, material and fittings

Each coffin drape measures 8ft × 5ft (244 × 152cm) and is made from thick, 155gsm MOD-approved woven polyester flag fabric with a cotton-like feel, finished with traditional rope and toggle fittings. Larger or smaller coffin drapes can also be supplied on request.

Can you see the coffin through the flag?

No. Our thick woven polyester coffin drapes provide an opaque covering, so the coffin cannot be seen through the fabric.

Some lightweight budget flags are sold as coffin drapes but can be translucent. When comparing products, check the fabric type, weight and finish. These budget flags often have pressed-in steel eyelets and are of poor quality.

National and military flags

Our range includes the Union Flag (Union Jack) , Scottish Saltire, Welsh Dragon, Irish and American flags. Military designs include RAF ensigns, British Army and Royal Marines flags, alongside Red, White and Blue Ensigns.
