Our flagpole cleats are essential for keeping halyard ropes neat and secure, which allow for a hassle-free operation. If you have an external system flagpole, a cleat is ideal for managing the raising and lowering of the flag. Our cleats are lightweight and come in nylon/plastic, which make them durable, weather resistant and easy to install.
As the cleats are mounted on the outside of the pole; they are most commonly used for residential or commercial poles, avoiding the complication of installing an internal locking system.
After raising or lowering the flag, you wrap the halyard around the cleat in a figure of eight pattern to keep it tight and prevent the flag from slipping down or the rope from flapping in the wind.
We have two different sized cleats available:-
White 6 ins (16cms) in length, 2cm wide and 3cm in depth (Holes are approx 4.5cms apart) and come with fixings screws
White 7 ins (18cms) in length 3cm wide and 2.5cm in depth (Holes are approx 4cms apart) and come with fixing screws
